Seasoning Instructions
How to season your griddle the right way for long-lasting protection and optimum performance:
1. Clean the surface – wipe down your griddle or cast iron to remove debris and moisture.
2. Preheat – Heat until surface is 350-450°F.
3. Apply Seasoning – Scoop the griddle seasoning and place it onto the hot surface.
4. Spread Evenly – Use tongs with a paper towel to spread a thin, even layer across the entire surface.
5. Let it Smoke – Allow the seasoning to burn off completely.
6. Repeat – For best results, repeat steps 3-5 at least three times to build a durable, non-stick coating.
7. Ready to Cook – Once seasoned, you’re ready to start cooking.
8. Maintain – After each use or cleaning, apply a thin layer to preserve your seasoning and protect against rust.
